Clugston appoints non executive director

Clugston Group, one of the North’s leading privately owned construction, logistics and property companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Hancock as non-executive director.

A founding director of Talisman Capital, Mr. Hancock, who is also chairman of Rural Solutions Consulting, a specialist organisation that advises businesses in the rural sector on diversification opportunities, started his new role at the end of July. Mr. Hancock has been involved in the property sector since graduating from Cambridge University with an M.A. in Land Economy.

Mr. Hancock also set up Amerdale Group Ltd, in 2003, a privately-funded development and investment company with a portfolio of approximately £100 million. He subsequently structured and completed the sale of the company to Kilmartin in 2007.

Stephen Martin, chief executive officer of Clugston Group, commented “We are delighted to welcome Mark to the Clugston team. He is extremely experienced in the property sector and will prove to be a great asset to the board.”

Mr. Hancock lives in North Yorkshire.
