EMS (UK) Ltd. manufacturer of the market leading, energy saving, carbon reducing voltage optimisation product Powerstar, is holding a number of Continuing Professional/Personal Development (CPD) seminars across the UK after recently becoming CPD certified.

CPD – Continuing Personal or Professional Development – is the term that describes a commitment to structured skills enhancement and personal or professional competence.

The first three seminars will be held in Durham, Swansea and Aberdeen, the fourth – an NHS and council specific seminar – will be held in Southampton.

The Durham seminar will take place on Tuesday 20th September at Allergate House with Bill Mahoney from CTC Energy as a guest speaker. The seminar in Swansea will take place at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel on Wednesday 19th October.

The seminar in Aberdeen will be at the University of Aberdeen on Wednesday 16th November, with guest speaker Mark Hobbins from the Energy Institute. The Southampton seminar will be on Wednesday 6th December at the Eastpoint Centre.

The seminars will start at 10:00am and finish at 1:00pm. They will include a free buffet lunch and all attendees will be awarded CPD certification on completion of the seminar.

EMS’ voltage optimisation system Powerstar is recognised as being the most efficient voltage solution in the world and can save up to 26.1% of total electricity consumption and related CO² emissions, all without compromising the supply to electrical equipment. The payback period after installing the product is typically between 0.8 and 2.5 years.

Alex Mardapittas, managing director at EMS (UK) Ltd, commented

“We are extremely proud that our seminars are now CPD certified, it is important that businesses know how to save energy and electricity, particularly with energy prices rising so much recently.”
