A market leading solution, the Phase Mains Dimmable driver delivers unrivalled smooth leading and trailing edge dimming, with reduced peak currents through a bespoke soft start circuit at the mains input. It is also believed to be the most compatible retrofit dimming product on the market and is available as a 700mA variant.

Despite only recently announcing the introduction of a new Phase Mains Dimmable Driver as an addition to the company’s already successful range of CoolLED drivers, Harvard Engineering – world leader in the design, development and manufacture of LED drivers, electronic HID ballasts and control products for the lighting industry – had the highest volume of pre-orders for any new CoolLED driver.

Michael McDonnell, sales and marketing director at Harvard Engineering, commented,

“The new Phase Mains Dimmable Driver is the company’s most sought after new CoolLED driver so far. We are extremely excited by the market opportunity for a reliable and high performance mains dimmable driver and we are looking forward to the product becoming a resounding success.”

The new product will be officially launched at the ARC Show in February. Customers will also be available to see the new Phase driver at Light & Building, in Frankfurt, in April.

As well as the CoolLED range of drivers, Harvard Engineering supplies HID, fluorescent and emergency lighting ballasts, as well as the revolutionary LeafNut street lighting monitoring and control system.
