Contrac Lighting is celebrating 25 years as a specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of lighting systems for the retail, industrial, commercial and leisure industries. Since the founding of the company in 1987, the business has grown steadily to become one of the UK’s leading manufacturers in its field.
Contrac prides itself on all its products being developed and manufactured in the UK. Its commitment to quality and reliability is evident in the significant project portfolio built up over the years. Customers, which are from a variety of sectors, include household names such as Curry’s, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Shoe Zone.
Since its inception Contrac has built a solid reputation for providing bespoke fittings to meet any special specifications – a focus that has remained virtually unchanged for more than two decades – and the company remains fully committed to its in-house manufacturing as this enables them to offer clients a wide range of bespoke solutions at competitive prices.
“Providing exceptional products and expert advice is at the heart of everything we do. Our company culture is built around core values that set us apart from our competition, and this has laid the foundation for our solid relationship with our clients,” explained Contrac Lighting’s managing director, Anne Shone.
Mrs. Shone added:
“We have developed a vast range of sensor fittings, with much of our business concentrated in this field. Over the next few months we will be introducing more energy efficient products, including our Ventronic Highbay and LED modular fittings.”
