Shrewdd Marketing, a growing marketing and PR agency based in Halifax, is to support Harvard Engineering, one of the UK’s leading lighting controls and drivers manufacturers, with the company’s expansion into a number of international markets.
Shrewdd will work on developing and implementing integrated marketing communications campaigns in France, Germany, Italy and the USA. The work will involve increasing Harvard’s profile as well as promoting the company’s market leading products, CoolLED, and the multi-award winning wireless monitoring and control system for street lighting LeafNut.
Michael McDonnell, business development director at Harvard, commented, “The team at Shrewdd Marketing has done a fantastic job marketing Harvard Engineering and our products. It has successfully raised our profile across different market sectors in the UK by strategically identifying opportunities and carefully planning the activities across a wide range of media. We are looking forward to working with them on our international plans.”
To support Shrewdd’s plans to expand its service into international markets, the company will be attending UK Trade & Investment Export Insight Visits to Paris, Milan and Dusseldorf in January 2013. The trips will not only allow Shrewdd to identify future potential partners but new customers as well.
Mr Alf Lombardi, managing director of Shrewdd Marketing, who speaks four languages and has worked in the US, France, Italy and Finland said: “We have been working with Harvard for a number of years on the company’s UK campaigns and we are really looking forward to supporting them with their expansion in Europe and the US. We have a wide range of international experience and will be able to put this to good use to implement successful campaigns for Harvard.”
