Harvard introduces new UL approved drivers at LIGHTFAIR International 2013

Harvard Engineering, a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of LED drivers and control products for the lighting industry, will be launching a number of new products for the US market at LIGHTFAIR International 2013, held from 23rd to 25th April 2013 at Pennsylvania Conference Center in Philadelphia.

The company, located on Booth #3811, will be showcasing three main product ranges – Custom LED placement and light engines, the LeafNut revolutionary wireless control system for outdoor lighting, and the UL approved range of CoolLED drivers.

Delivering a high performance solution for powering high-brightness LEDs from a mains supply, the CoolLED range of drivers has been widely adopted for use in commercial, industrial and retail markets, where it has enabled organizations to achieve energy and cost savings by proactively managing lighting.

Heading up the Americas operation is Antony Corrie, who is confident about the opportunities: “The US lighting market is undergoing a major transformation. Every customer is moving to LED and this change is bringing massive opportunity. Harvard is at the forefront of the lighting controls market and we intend to take advantage of our position.”

From its Americas headquarters in San Diego, Harvard Americas Corporation has two primary goals. The first is to develop the market for the company’s leading innovative LED drivers under the globally recognized CoolLED brand name. The second is to target broad scale adoption of LeafNut, a revolutionary wireless control system, which enables municipalities and organizations to proactively manage outdoor lighting.
