Harvard Engineering, world leader in the design, development and manufacture of LED drivers and control products for the lighting industry, has recently appointed Dr. Andy Davies as Business Development Manager for indoor controls.
An experienced industry professional, Dr. Davies has worked in the lighting industry for over 16 years, having previously worked for GE Lighting in a variety of engineering and commercial roles. As product general manager, he brought to market GE Lightings LED lamps, modules and systems portfolio, and most recently was sales development director, responsible for the development of the company’s strategic LED module business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Dr. Davies’s new role will involve bringing new generations of indoor lighting control solutions to market, and identifying and developing new business opportunities for the new products. He commented, “I am thrilled to be joining such an innovative company. Harvard is well-positioned as a leader in the new lighting industry and has some very exciting new products in the pipeline. I am really looking forward to working with team to develop the opportunities that no doubt, these new products will generate.”
