Normanton-based Harvard Engineering, world leader in the design, development and manufacture of control products and LED drivers for the lighting industry, is pleased to be providing continuous support to Ossett Albion’s Under 17 team.
The company was looking at ways to further increase its support of the local community. The opportunity arose 18 months ago after another local company let the Huddersfield Junior league team down. One of the managers at the club contacted Harvard after reading about an award the company won.
Paul Williams, one of the managers for Ossett Albion, commented, “The team at Harvard was brilliant and rescued us after we were let down. Our shirts look fantastic with their company logo. It is great to be supported by such a major local company.”
Russell Fletcher, sales and marketing director at Harvard Engineering, commented, “We are always looking at ways of supporting the local community and we thought this was a great opportunity to do just that. Sport is a great way of bringing the community together and Ossett Albion is a great local club to support.”
This is the second season that Ossett Albion’s Under 17 team has worn the Harvard shirt. The team is currently mid table in the Huddersfield league.
